Is There an Acne
Cure That's Fast and Effective? - FAQ
Is there an acne cure
that's fast and effective?
It's no surprise that
acne, while not a life-threatening disease, is one irritating condition that has caused a lot of pain and problems
for a lot of individuals from all walks of life, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. Some people go through the
"acne stage" scar free, while others are not so fortunate and have to deal
with it even beyond their teenage and young
adulthood.
Left untreated, things
could go from bad to worse. You probably know that simple zits, blackheads and whiteheads, if not given proper
recommendation from one's family physician or
dermatologist, could lead to serious scarring issues, and along with it, harsh
psychological effects such as insecurity and
depression.Imagine missing a lot of life’s most
important occasions and memorable events, because you’re worried
of people’s reactions to your face!
What is really the
cause of acne?
This has been a largely
debated question. From chocolate myths to eating the
wrong kinds of food, the cause of acne has led to a lot of talk by the medical community. From a scientific and
biological standpoint though, when excess sebum is produced and combines with bacteria on the skin's surface,
one's individual pores and hair follicles become clogged. The result is an
inflammation resulting either in a blackhead, whitehead or cystic pimple on one's skin.

Is there an acne
cure that's fast and effective?
A lot of products in
the market, both offline and online, are promoting a
lot of acne cures and claiming that they are fast and effective. Such and such companies usually go on a marketing
campaign, saying that they hold the secret of clear skin. Even then, medical researchers and dermatologists
have concluded that acne is something that can only be treated and prevented, not
cured. Be careful of being allured into quick acne treatments, as they may be "effective" in the short run, but in
reality their safety is questionable.
How can you have
clear skin without suffering from any
side effects?
Start with a healthy
lifestyle and always be in the habit of proper cleansing. Best to use a dermatologist recommended soap, or
something that's natural and will not irritate your skin. Dermatologist Alanna F.Bree, M.D. recommends that "it's best to keep your bacteria-laden hands away
from your skin." Also, avoid medication involving or containing Accutane or Benzoyl Peroxide. While they provide a
lot of immediate benefits, they carry with them, a troublesome list of side effects.
